Two of us got to the lake around 8:00 am and out on the water by 8:30. We went up to the low water floats and fished the same way we did a couple of weeks ago trolling with a 3 oz weight, 4 inch dodgers and pink and white Hoochies tipped with shrimp we were out 80 poles. we caught 7 coho at that location before they stopped biting. We then went east up the lake about a 1/2 mile mile and tried fishing in 90 feet of water just off the south shore and we actually caught a 16 inch Kokanee there. We then went to the north shore and stayed in about 100 feet of water and went down 120 poles where we caught the rest of our limit. we had 1 little coho at 8 inches and the rest were 16-17 inches.
when we got back everyone was surprised that we had such nice fish and our limits. Most of them had been down closer to the dam and using down riggers and were down at 80-100 feet. They were only catching the littler7-10 fish.
Our fish finder did show the majority of the fish at 80 feet but it also showed a good amount at 25-30 feet. Overall we had a great day on the lake.
P.S. out of the last two trips we only had one fish with parasites which was easily identifiable due to its extended belly.
