Well, fishing wasn't perfect but it was active. Came out Wend. left smelling like a skunk. Threw everything at them but no action. Decided to come back out this morning and try again. It wasn't until 7am for my first. Bite. Never had the chance to set the hook it was gone before I could get it out of the Rod holder. Back down about an hour later a very light nibble and then a hard tug, once again gone. Around 10am I have my 1st solid hook set, played the fish and got to the side of my pontoon and all of a sudden it comes to life again going under my toon, back up and around my left bladder wrapping itself around it. Had the net in my hand but the leader just snapped. Pretty mad about that one but what can you do. Re- rig and back on the wire and no longer than 5 min I hook into another and land this bad boy. Solid 6lb buck!! I hooked probably 6 kokanee in between.

Gear used: Shasta tackle 8 inch sling blade, wiggle hoochie (pink), cured coon shrimp, anise krill scent.
