Tried lake Ketchum this morning with my dad. This lake had a bad problem with algae and slime last year and I guess the game and fish treated it. I've been here twice since then and the last time it was still real slimy, but this time the water was crystal clear. we were going for perch and had a good amount of luck, we used jigs along the lily pads and there's a lot of weeds so we moved out about 15 feet near the edge of the weed bed and had really good luck there. Caught a few bass on plastic worms as well. Temperature was very warm close to 90 degrees. Ketchum has a decent shallow boat launch and a restroom, small amount of parking but I rarely see people fishing it. We were the only ones fishing today. Go weedless or fish really shallow because there is a lot of weed beds outside the lily pads. Also every time I've been to Ketchum its been really windy, today was no exception.
