Are you retrieving you jig? How far down you fishing and lastly is it a dusk and dawn thing for those elusive crappie(elusive to me at least) My daughter is dying to catch one.

Sweet report.... again!

Slow retrieve....dawn (0600) and dusk (1945).....depth of jig is dependent on where in the lake u choose to fish (dock side is deeper) try a little over 18" first and adjust from there according to the amt of scuzz u get back......Tight lines!!!!

No boats, ships, or floatation devices of any kind are allowed in the lake! I wouldn't even try waders there, the sturgeon are mean and don't like sharing the limited space with watercraft......plus the blueberries!.....can't mess up the blueberries! Seriously though.......no boats or swimming.

gReEnBuL!

I am going to give Larsen a try tomorrow with my family. I grew up in NY fishing a lot of small lakes for Crappie. Any technique suggestions? Looks like you guys are using bobbers? live bait or lures? I was thinking of picking up some berkley gulp minnows, do you think they would work? Really appreciate your reports, keep them coming. How are the crappie eating? with it being a bog... are they muddy flavor?

Mad appreciations!

The Berkley gulp minnows are the truth!!! Start off at the south side, walk out on the trees, cast and retrieve (slowly jigging the bobber), repeat as necessary..... Dock may hit near sunset............I clean 'em soon as I get home, chill 'em a bit in the fridge , meal 'em and put 'em in crisco :-) they are scrumpdiddlyumptious! I've had crappie from Albuquerque to Georgia and they all taste the same to me!!!!
??
have fun with the family and tight lines!
