Fished for 3 days 7/28-7/30. Learned a lot. Hooked 8 and lost 5 on the first day. Broke two off 1 with flasher attached should have jumped in to get it as I watched if slowly float away. Used long Noodle rods with short net bad idea. Boy what a hoot it was!! Plenty off others got a good laugh watching the specticle. Oh well. Used pink double glow hootchies with coon shrimp on first hook. also used 14- 16 leaders with various 0 dodgers. trolling down to 1 mph.

Day two same tactics only got two but only lost one which broke 20 lb test leader.

Day 3 in a hurry to beat Seafair traffic fished early and got only one. I agree with others try different tactics and methods. What worked day one did not work by day three. Saw many others catching fishing the same place I fished. Some guys werre going 2.5 or faster. As for scent used every day but it ruins the hootchies even if you soak them in JOY. dont use on plastics. Met really cool people. A shout out to Gary family and friends. Aslo the couple from Marysville in the Boston Whaler. Meeting nice people like them was the best part of the trip. If you read this please comment or send me what you were usingand methods.
