went fishing with a friend of mine to Bryant lake, we were mainly fishing for bass and had good luck today. we ended up catching 7 bass, 1 pumpkinseed, and 1 nice crappie. weather was windy and it was cloudy. fished all around this lake and had good luck in all areas except the south end of the lake. the lake is really filled with a lot of weeds in some areas. we used top water lures and had success with that, also used black straight plastic worms rigged weedless, and in the areas that the weeds weren't as bad we used some shallow diving lures and also had success. air temp was cooler in the 60's. the bad thing about this lake is loading your boat in. The parking area is only a small pullout on highway nine, if there are more than three people fishing this lakes there's no more parking, it rarely has anyone fishing it during the week however. Once you park you have to pull your boat across pioneer trail and through an unkept trail that leads to the lake. I use my 12 foot john boat and its an effort to get it in there with one person pushing and one pulling. there's limited fishing off the bank but you can do it. the best type of boat to take in here would be a kayak. After it rains I'd highly recommend some muck boots as well because the trail gets very muddy.
