Spent the day chasing walleye with friend DT. Second time on Banks lake, started catching fish right after getting bottom bouncers with Walleye Delight lures, in green and orange colors + worms. fished 25' to 50' depths Most fish came from 25' to 35' depth. Biggest fish at 21" came from 45'+ depth on a Spoon worm rig hauler, came back to shallower water and started catching some walleye in the 14" range, then picked up 2 smallmouth (13") and one 12" perch on the same rigs. I was amazed to catch 15 fish on a day that was 103ยบ.

Thanks for the report. I am going out tomorrow, it will also be my second time there. Where were you fishing? Not sure if I should go north or south.

Looks like a great batch of fish, why only a rating of 3? walleyes we fished Banks last week did great on the opposite side of the lake of Steamboat Rock.

Launched from Steamboat, only gave a 3 rating because our success came from having 2 poles in the water for 10 hours each, could be from my lack of experience. Also our speed was .99 mph to 1.2 mph. With 2oz bottom bouncer, upped speed to 1.3 mph when we had the spoons on.
