well, back from my european sports adventure for the summer, and naturally what do i want to do? GO FISHIN! so i head out with my dad on a two day adventure for salmon on wenatchee and walleye on banks. the sockeye was ok. got half a limit, but it tasted good smoked! day two was where the action really picked up.

went out with Keith Jensen of Big Wally's Guide Service and hit the water at 6 Am. started trolling with jointed Rapala's (i believe shad raps) in pink, orange, and perch. the bite was on for about 3 hours on the crank bait and then it switched to bottom bouncing with slow death hooks and a smile blade. caught well over 40 fish and kept 24 in between 15 and 19 inches. it was my first time fishing walleye and i am now hooked... but then again, i am hard pressed to find a type of fishing i don't like.

can't wait to get back to eastern washington with my 12 foot boat and try bottom bouncing for some delicious fish. humpies now! lets hope the bite bodes well!

tight lines and good luck to all
