Thanks to Ken Opsata of Bothell for bringing his daughter Kendra (13) out to fish with Jeff. Pounding the Bar early, albeit late in the year for that location produced an awesome "big". Purple Glow Flatfish (GPLF) have really been the ticket for the wonderful numbers of big fish that we have gotten off the Bar this summer. As always work your lures within 5 feet of the bottom at 1.2mph to trigger the fish. The fish are transitioning to spawning areas with the State Park being the most familiar. The trench and Colyar Ledge are best for feeding fish right now. The Barrens should also be productive as fall wears on.
