I love to take trips to Eastern Washington to explore new lakes. I Pulled into a little store just outside Omak for a soda. I took my dogs and asked the person at the register if there are any good lakes around that I could let my dogs off leash while I fished. She told me to go up to Crawfish, thinking of my dogs, I took her advise and I am very glade I did. Casting roostertails - any kind of roostertails I hooked up about every third cast. I have done a lot of tuna fishing in the past and had to laugh around dusk, every single cast I had a hookup, it was like being on a mini tuna bite. Mostly Brooks in the small to mid size range, if you don't mind the size the lake is a blast.
