Started fishing around 9am, lead line 3 colors, smelly jelly kokanee attack sent on a rainbow dick nite doger with a injured fish lure, tipped with shoe peg corn. No bites, I saw fish jumping at 10:30am. Left the lake at 1pm, and headed over to Greg's Custom Rod shop at the north east end of the lake and talked to him. He said we are about a month away from things getting good. He said its a first light lake, be on the water before the sun comes up. He said to not use any weight or colors, just let the rig out 50ft behind the boat. He sold me some kokanee dipping sauce for the corn, he said to replace the bait often. Yall go see Old Greg if you found this helpful, and be sure to sign up for his kokanee durby on Lake Stevens. http://www.gregscustomrods.com/
