I went down and fished the Lake Meridian docks, starting at about 5:00. I had originally wanted to take my boat out, but my battery was dead and I've been noticing people everywhere down at the docks. I used a powerbait rig off the bottom. I got a couple of hits, but didn't land any fish. I also tried for bass with only one strike that I'm not too sure about. The only reason I'm giving this a 2/5 is because the fish were everywhere. Some were even jumping fully out of the water. A few people caught a trout down there, but I guess I just wasn't able to get to the areas the fish were from the dock. Hopefully I'll be able to get out there this week with a boat. Tight lines

I caught a few earlier in the day from 11 to 1 on a couple of different fly's 2 -8 inch and 4- 11 inch, all released to grow up. Just fished out from the launch . Hope some kok's start to show up before too long.

According to the WADFW fish planting page the state has put several thousand rainbows into Meridian in March. With warmer temps hitting this week and next the fishing should start to pick up.

I was out yesterday and 12,000 are in. Jumping and hitting the surface everywhere
