DAY 3/3:
well, to finish up the week, i went to Beaver Lake for some Stockie Rainbow action. saw mixed reports on it, so i wasn't expecting much. went up at 5:15 to the Boat launch across from the park and fished from the launch. when i showed up, a lady came to throw balls for her dog in the water. (cmon lady...... its a public fishing place and boat launch. don't throw your tennis ball in a crowded place full of fishing lines.) so she left and a dad and son showed up with their boat. they had just left the launch and their battery died. so i waded out and threw them a rope i had in my car, and pulled them to shore. the kid was pretty bummed. during this time i caught one. then i hooked another and asked him to "hold my poke for a second" yahoo, he got a fish. then dad let them stay and i set him up with a plunkin rig and some powerbait. his pole wasn't doing anything, but he got 3 on mine. he left happy and i got some new friends in the process. great time
during this time, another guy showed up and was fishing with worms. he wasn't getting anything, so he asked for some powerbait, and immediately got some fish. he then asked if i was on WashingtonLakes. i told him i was Wafisherman20, and he remembered my mom and Gracie the WonderDog! it was awesome to meet a fellow member of the community.
left with my limit and called it a day just as it got dark.
fantastic day and made some great friends. not bad for 2 hours of fishing!!!
and that's that. three days of great fishin.
tight lines!
