Nice to finally be back on the water and a gorgeous day it was. Temps got up into the mid 60's and water temp was averaged around 53 degrees.

We only got two fish all day long with no other bites or follows while fishing. The good news is that the two fish were decent in size. The first LMB (4lb 9oz) was caught on a 4" senko in about 8' of water, in the middle of the lake (towards the South end), and the 2nd fish (3lb 8 oz) was caught on a white chatter bait on the NW end in about 7' of water. That was it.

I loved being out for the first time this year and looking forward to many more trips. BTW, both fish were released for someone else to enjoy.

Yes saw a couple of people catching crappies. Not huge amounts, but each had a few on.
