4:30 am my alarm goes off but I don't wake up. Thought I hit snooze but apparently I turned off the alarm completely. Finally get out of bed around 6:30. Packed up and got to the lake by 7:15 and was fishing at 7:30. I trolled maybe 15 min and the first fish was on. Then, over a course of an hour I land 4 more and lost about 3. Five fish is all I could manage. The weather was nice and calm and then the wind and rain kicked in full force pushing me off the water. Luckily the wind was blowing right towards the boat launch. My pontoon would not have survived. Anyways, if we had better weather I would have stuck around to try for my limit. I just didn't want to mess with Mother Nature today. Gear used was the same as my last report along with the scents and depth of fish. Tight lines!
