My buddy and I went out to Waitts on Sunday to try out our new downriggers. The fish were suspended about 25 feet down which made it pretty easy to get too them. We started about 10:00 and fished until about 1:00. We trolled wedding rings with worms and a dark colored trolling fly tipped with worms. Fishing was pretty steady early on then became a little tougher around 11:30 or so. We caught one nice brown about 15" and then the rest of our limit was on nice healthy looking rainbows. All around 1.5 pounds each. We mostly trolled down on the end of the lake by the boat launch. Good day even though the weather wasn't ideal. Had a nice little hail and wind storm at one point as we finished up for the day.
