Decided to fish McMurray today as it's open finally and it's like ten minutes from home. I missed one in the pads right next to the launch, about a 2.5 that launched at my bait as I was lifting it out of the water. I didn't touch anything else for about 30 minutes.

No water temps as my electronics are down with the new boat. It was fairly windy and I was in my 12' Jon Boat so I motored down to the north end to get our of it. I fished the far log and pad filled NE corner throwing a swim jig with a swimbait trailer and a Senko follow up. I boated the first little 2lber by some pilings down there and then let the wind push me up against a log so I could fan cast an area and then move and repeat. Got a 3.5lber on the fourth cast and three casts later I got the 4.2. I worked around this area for a little bit catching 2 more and a turtle by hand :)

I headed over by the park and picked up a dink and then another. I caught two more small fish, one about 1.5 and the last one by the launch that went about 2. I only fished about 2.5 hours as I had things to do at the house before dark o not bad....

Trout guys were doing fair I would say.
