Got to The Lake With My Dad around 1 launched and got baited up and started trolling right from the launch on south bay winthin 10 mins. had the first fish on at 30 ft on the wire. cutt released unharmed ! dads pole went down first koke in the live well. dad went to reset and while resetting number two then i got one, then nothing till we found some more around the west edge of the lake in about 50 feet of 128 solid school for about a mile wow! seems the water temp is just wright! fish are all over the surface as well kokes are small but fun day getting into them. Trolled down by the island and up around sunset beach and around the point hooked into 14 inch cutt another fat and healthy one released unharmed, the temp is just right. 55 on the surface cutts run right balck to colder water. funny there isnt limit on them seems the population is up. all and all great day on the lake. not very many people out only saw one float tuber and a couple wind surfers. fun times.
