Since weather was going to be nice, decided to hit up Lake Stevens again.

Started fishing the cove to the left of the boat launch cove. Ran a swimbait past a dock without anything. Tossed a senko at the corner. Within a second or 2, felt a thump and set the hook. Not a biggun, but a fun one. Looked to be about a 1.5# LMB. That didn't take long. Thinking i'm onto something. Then nothing for about an hour. I just stayed on my trolling motor weaving in and out. I did see a small catfish in the grass. Then spotted a ~2# SMB cruising in about 8' of water.

Saw tons of frys. Can't tell what they are though. They were everywhere. Didn't matter if I was along the shoreline or in the middle of the lake.

Was marking lots of what I assume trout/kokanee suspending at 20' of water.

Got bites and chases from perch and I believe bluegills.

Landed a dink SMB where I skipped the DS underneath a dock. Found some sort of cover in 20' of water with a few markings. Fished it for a while without a bite unfortunately. It was so nice out. With the slow fishing, I was just trolling across the lake getting some sun.

I was on the trolling motor 98% of the time today. The main motor was only for no more than 10 mins today. And that was just to motor out of the cove and back into the cover.
