I spent a full day on Lake Chelan yesterday. The fish are mostly in the post spawn. I spent the first half of the day in the lower basin from Lakeside up to Wapato Point. I put 2 fish in the boat in 4 hours. Then I moved up to the narrows and fished the rocky flat from the Yacht Club down lake diagonally to the point on the North Shore. I boated 12 fish in about 2.5 hours of fishing. I think any time you can find a flat like that, (the area off the State Park really produced last time out) you'll do fine. No big fish, but lots of fish from 3 to 5 pounds. All of these fish came at depths of 125' to 155' with 130' to 135' being the key. I have caught some fish on Wiggle Warts and some on Silver Hordes, but U-20 flatfish are the big producer for me. These fish are probably staging off of rocky shoals where they spawn at night.
