Fishing has been very hot over the last week. I limited a 6 person party in
6.25 hours and 4 person party in 6 hours. The fish have ranged 1.5 to 11
pounds. Most fish are 2.5 to 5 pounds. The U-20 luminous chartreuse
flatfish has been the consistent producer. The thing that has changed is the
fish have come early and deep, with most fish being caught between 205' and
245' starting early in the morning and peaking in the late morning. Slider
rigs with dodgers and narrow spoons as well as dodgers and herring have
picked up some fish. Chasing suspended arch paid off in the biggest fish of
the week. We brought a flatfish up from 240' to 165' as well as doing a
hesitation move to trigger an 11 pound fish on Saturday by "The Cove". Anton
