Wow, what an epic fishing trip. Got the pleasure of staying at a family friends beach house on Wapato point. Just like the first two reports posted the feeding frenzy was unreal. Basically if you dropped your gear in front of fish your were bound to get a hook up. Didn't even get up super early, I was fishing by 5:45 or 6 am with a limit by 8am. I pretty much stayed in the same spot all 3 days simply because the fish finder was lit up from 50--120 ft. I spent most of my time 100-110 ft on the wire as those fish were much larger and more willing to bite....aggressively.

My set up was the same pink hoochie with smile blade and home tied uv smile blade with pink glow beads (Teds Sporting Special)
Anise Krill was the hot scent. Out fished bloody tuna and Shrimp/Prawn. Double D Dodgers in prism and pink were money.

I will be fishing Chelan again at least 2 more times before the summer is in full effect. below is my video as promised from last report. It's a bit lengthy and I didn't do well in the first 3-5 min with the camera angle but the rest of the video came out pretty good. Enjoy and tight lines.

--what make of toon is that..seems very stable with your downrigger set up.
--enjoyed the fishing footage but more interested in the toon set up.

DjB, Nice Catch, Pics, & Video (Was long but More the Merrier).. :)
Lake Chelan is on Top of My Favorite lake to Fish, Camp, or just get out there for the scenery.
I've never gotten Skunked there..
Look forward to getting out there a couple more times this Summer. Maybe we can meet out there sometime or Share a ride over there.

Skaha- I bought the 2009 Colorado pontoon. It's made by "Classic Accessories" I found that Amazon sells them a little bit cheaper and if
You catch them during holidays you will get a huge discount on it. I had to add a make shift motor mount because they do not sell them seperately at classic accessories. If you go to their website you can see the different styles they make. I'll be upgrading mine soon.

That's a really fun video to watch. Your pontoon is decked!!! How do you attach your line to the downrigger and get it around the pontoon when your letting out? Doe your release float or something?
