Started the day off with a perch colored inline spinner 3/8oz. Caught some dinks, then a pounder, got down near the rock island on the west side and caught a trout on it, two casts later I caught a pounder that spit up fry the same color as the trout so I switched over to a black and white inline spinner and continued fishing....that lure is no longer with us as the 1-3lb smallies chewed it up!! After 3 hours the paint was gone and the blade clevis finally broke off.

Switched over to a drop shot after grubs and crankbaits failed. Caught a few more up to 2.8lbs and that was that. The wind blew pretty good shortly after I arrived and that slowed the bite down in areas for sure. I moved around a lot and tried to fish wind eddies and weed lines out to 12'. My biggest of the day was 3.3lbs and all of the 2lb or bigger fish came from weed lines or shoreline breaks in the 7-9' range. I fished out to 25'.

I didn't get to explore as much as I would have liked due to not feeling like fighting the wind south of Geneva Point.
