Based on quantity, it's a 4. Based on size, a 3.

Started off on a point I haven't fished this year. Even though it was late in the morning, I was hoping I could catch a topwater fish. After about 15 mins of nothing. First pitch out with the dropshot, a bite. Just a little SMB. Barely a pound. First 4 casts with the DS, 3 fish. Biggest out of these was probably just under 2#.

Moved shallow, moved out deeper. Caught bass here and there consistently.

I mainly used only 3 rods to catch my fish today. DS, swimbait, and wacky.

When I had to retie, I heard a splash behind me. Then another, and another. I turned around and see all these ducks invading! LOL. After a min or 2, they left me alone since I didn't have food for them.

I tossed my DS at a dropoff. Dragging it in and jigging. I feel a tick and set the hook. Yes, this feels like a better fish! It digs down and does a few rips. I see it and it's a pretty decent SMB. Nice and fat. Probably high 2's and maybe close to 3. It's at boat side and I'm literally about to net it. This football does a backflip and comes unbutton! I did pinch down these barbs, since it makes release so much easier. I've bent and broken several hooks bc of the barb when I'm trying to release the fish. Man that sucked.

Well, I'm still fishing in the same general area and catching more bass. Again, mainly those 1# and smaller. I get another decent fighting fish. I see color and I see a 2nd fish about the same size. My hooked fish spits out a huge partially digested perch! Looked to be about 5-6" or so. I see the other fish swim up to it looking like it was going to eat it, but it turns, lol gross. Got this one into the net. 2.25#.

Still fishing the same area and I get another nice fighter. This one does a backflip too at boat side, but landed inside my net, woot. Just barely broke the 3# barrier at 3.02.

Caught over 20+ "bass", which includes 4 rockbass. I've average less than 1 rockbass per year at Sammamish. All of a sudden today, I catch 4. Different areas of the lake. 6 or 7 were about 2lb+. The majority were at about 1lb. Several I'm not sure how they even got hooked, that were so small. And 1 perch.
