We started trolling right out of launch about 6:30am. It was cloudy and breezy. The water temperature was 71 degrees.
I have to admit that I came on a hawg hunt. I was looking for a big trout like Kim got last week but it didn’t happen.
It was really windy at different times in the morning. So much so that I had to give up on my 2nd rod in order to steer. With the wind chill factor we got cold!
Most of our bites and fish came at the middle north side of the lake. Kim was the one who brought in the only kokanee this time. We left about 11:30.
I used a Hypnosis Dodger by Dick Nite with a Wannafish A Lure Green Machine while Kim used a Rocky Mountain Dodger and Wannafish A Lure Patriot. We fished in mostly 60-85 feet of water with the lures on the downrigger cable at 35-50 feet.
I had to cut the video way back from all the fish that followed or bit. There was a non-trout species hanging out with them in the beginning of the video.

We are in a battle! Angler against fish! We need an arsenal of weapons and at my site you will find some of those different weapons. For all those who wannafish a lure come in and take a look at WannafishALure.com.
