Made it out on Loon for the last nite of Koke fishing for the season. For me anyway!!!! 3rd time this summer and the little Devil's did cooperate. Capt. , Catfish, Tile & myself shutter down @ 12:30 with 32 of the land locked Sockeye and some one bagged a 4" Bluegill. Tried to spoil the whole cooler. !!! We've done better, but it was a Great evening. Typical presentation of corn/maggot o a small jig @ 29'-31' Starting to show a little spawn Co lour'. Plenty of BS was had with all of fish'n Bud's. Maybe next season WDFW will open Loon to unlimited Koke's /angler and possible get some size to them. Couldn't hurt with the amount that has came out of the lake this season, which has been the norm for the last 10-12 years I've nite fished it. There used to be bigger Koke's in Loon.... Oregon

Thanks for the report Oregon. I doubt the WDFW would ever open it up unlimited. They might however raise the limit and that might help the size. They have reduced the plant from 100k to 50k for the past few years. I have noticed the fish are healthier and more "plump" although not bigger in length. I too am headed out to chase salmon on the lower Columbia; can hardly wait!
