By the sounds of it, later this month we'll be spending a day or two on Potholes/Moses Lake and 2-3 on Banks. I'm really wanting to spend more time on Potholes, but unless those walleyes finally show up, I'm afraid the northern lakes will get more of our time. Either way, with this new (to me), larger motor, I'm really looking forward to exploring the bigger lakes more.

9/6/2016 3:12:00 PMFor my wife and myself, the walleye were high up in the crab creek and down by Medicare Beach. At least that was the reports coming back from successful walleye hunters this Labor Day weekend. Biggest bass were off of Goose Island. Did not get to travel to all the places we wanted on the lake because the fuel line broke and we were running on the trolling motor. Water is very green with algae, choose your line color accordingly.

9/16/2016 9:49:00 AMWell, I remain very much looking forward to our fishing trip to Central Washington September 23-26, but the success outlook isn't helping. We'll have 4-7 of us in 3 or 4 boats, and due to the limited number of reports coming out of Moses Lake and Potholes Reservoir recently, we have decided to split the trip between there and Banks Lake. HewesBob, you're not helping! :)
Honestly, though, you are, as is WBD and everyone else reporting. I/we appreciate any and all information we can glean before heading out there. Being from west of Seattle, it is a significant commitment heading east and anything that can be learned to make it a better experience is a huge plus. So keep those reports coming in, especially over the next week to 10 days - a number of us will eagerly be awaiting them!
