Trolled for 4 hours and didn't mark many fish. Water was calm and water temp was between 65-66 degrees. Flat green Kokabow wedding ring with chartreuse blade was the only lure that saw action. Hooked 3 but lost a nice Kokanee that leaped in the air right before netting. Released 2 rainbow and called it a day. The 2 landed were the largest I've seen at Summit this summer. Meat quality is still good but won't be much longer. Went straight into brine for smoking tomorrow. Ranked 3/5 because the fish caught were decent fighters, I had to work for them and it was a nice solo trip with the mutts.

Did you fillet from the tai forward? I do it that way but I cut off the head and gut the fish first. From you picture, it looks like an unnecessary step!
When I was young a dog showed up on our front porch, half lab and half tricolored collie. Looked a lot like your dog! Nice photos!

Not sure how he did it, but I start at the head and fillet towards the tail. This way I don't need to gut or remove the head. I get nice fillets this way.
