Quick run to Crescent Lake in Gig Harbor prior to the rain/wind kicking up. This lake has always produced for me in the past and its within easy range of the house. Still wish that WDFW would at least invest a few bucks in the boat ramp.

Anyhow, we fished from 1100-3:30 p.m, mostly fished dock to dock looking for hungry LMB.. Caught a mixed bag overall with crappie being the main catch of the day, a few LMB(all on the small side) and several rainbow trout(could have caught those all day if we had any kind of trout gear with us).

Marked a couple of decent/large schools of crappie moving around the middle of the lake, so we trolled right over the top, killed the motor and dropped jigs down with pretty good results.

All in all, nothing of size, but definitely a couple of happy anglers.
