My son and I fished from about 2:30 to 4:30 for some lake Washington coho today. Using a small flasher and mini squid on a of set of light kokaneee rods we thought we would try our luck. We were fishing deep near hunts point. We consistly caught fish for the short time we were out there. A couple of nice rainbows to the boat and when we came in a little shallower a nice perch. All was released. One mystery fish was long line released. Some old salt came cruising by in an old Arima asking how the fishing was. We both look out of place with the crustiest boats out there. As soon as you left buddy, pow! We landed a nice 7lb coho. With the little Kokanee rods it sure felt like a big King. Too bad we couldn't stay out longer but it was sure fun hanging with the kid.

Mt. Shasta tackle dodger and a UV mini squid with some green in it. Sportco has the stuff.
