Launched about 0830, everyone else had the same idea so the wdfw launch looked like a summer day. Hooked first rainbow before I could get the rod in the holder. Which was a nice start. The bites were steady, but light and lost a bunch of rainbows next to the boat. Finished out a limit at about noon which consisted of 3 rainbows and 2 Kokanee. Trout were around 12" kokanee were 13" and 14" Kokanee came at 18 ft and trout were anywhere from the top to 30 ft down. Speed 1.3 - 1.5. Water temp 49-50. The usual sling blades with hoochies tipped with corn were deployed. Any sent worked as long as it had krill. Tried something new, hooked a Macks flash lite to the downrigger ball not sure if that helped. More experimentation is required. It was a beautiful day, caught some fish and got a little sun burnt. Perfect day!!
