What a beautiful day at Sekiu on Friday and the fishing couldn't be much better. After a several hour drive with my dad, our eyes were now set on salmon. Got at the resort at 6:00 AM and fished until 11:00 AM. I ended up catching 5 silvers and my dad ended up with 3 silvers and one pink. The eight silvers we caught only two were hatchery fish where one of those hatchery fish was a nice solid tem pounds. Most of the fish were running 4-6 pounds. It slowed down at around 11:00 so we decided to stop, not to mention . We had to work for those hatchery fish, but it was worth it. And please don't abuse the wilds because I saw a lot of people putting them in their boat being the living crap out of them trying to get the hooks out then releasing them dead and floating. Thanks
