Fished from 7am to 12:15, high tide at noon today. Started at Meadow Point. Standard gear, green hoochies/Hot Spot flashers, large size. Worked our way down the depth column. We caught our first fish at 8:15 45 feet on the rigger. Had another release 1/2 later. Saw some fish being caught so we worked the area until 9:15. Next stop was West Point. Riggers are now at 75 and 65 ft deep. Within five minutes Dan has a fish on. It's a good fish, taking line when - slack line. The fish broke off at the flasher. A moment later, there he is on the surface with my lucky flasher! We spent five minutes trying to chase him into the net. No luck. Continued to fish, got a nice 7 pounder at 79 ft on a flasher and Al's Cripple spoon. For the day we caught two and lost three, not counting the shakers. Saw a few caught around us. Beautiful day to be on the water!
