Took a hastily arranged fishing trip/stress reliever on Sunday with Tbone. Dumped two crab pots off the breakwater, then headed out to deep water, turned South and started trolling. I fished a hot spot on the ball and a small Apex 7 feet up. T fished a mini hot spot with a green/glo Coyote. From 7:30 to about 9:30, we had a fish on every 30 minutes or so. I got a 5.5 pound hatchery fish and a 7 pound wild fish in the box. T lost a couple.

There was a good bite around West Pt about 10:00, but we didn't get any hits and could only watch the folks around us bring in 10-15 fish in a half hour or so.

We trolled back towards Shilshole and got more bites. Luck was definitely against T this day. He lost 5 fish, 3 right before I could net them, one off my pole. The fish just seemed to come undone for no good reason. One was so tired that I was able to run up the side of the boat and almost net it off the bow as it swam on the surface.
We also got three nice Dungeness crabs and two huge rock crabs (7+inches) which we took home.
