Hit the ramp early 4am, not bad but hard to back up when a truck dropping off has his head lights on and when your on a narrow poorly engineered 2 lane ramp. I have 2 favorite holes and after passing the first one I decided too check my line. After removing the slime and weed off my herring and hooks: being a resourceful fisherman I chose my mouth to remove the excess. Bright idea considering jellyfish tentacles sting like a mother. At about 7 I had a huge fish on, turning the stern 180 deg. It had taken off deep and about 75 yards past the bow. I choked and tried to turn the fish in which it snapped 30lb. maxima ultragreen, taking my deep six and dogger (there's $20) and ultimately most my spirits. My tongue and lips are still on fire and eventually landed a 5lb. hatchery coho. Fished the 200-180 ft.depths at 60-80ft. down. LOTS of boats and seen a few caught. After an hour trying to get out on Ramp Ridiculous on land by 11am.
