Tried for some South Sound Kings on a beautiful sunny day with Tom. Launched at Redondo. Kind of a zoo with the tide out and no dock left. Tom backed the boat off the trailer and then putted around while I parked. Wish more folks would do that to free up the launch area..

Fished the Redondo area until about 9:00 and only saw two or three smaller salmon caught. Used a Coho Killer and a Hot Spot as well as a herring in a helmet behind a Fish Flash. No bites.

Move into Commencement Bay and trolled around for a while there too. Saw fish on the scope West of the Puyallup but no biters. Not as many boats as I've seen there in the past. Also hit the Slag Pile up to the Clay Banks and over at Pt. Dalco. Nothing at all but a couple of flounders caught when we got too close to the bottom...

Got back to the ramp and the area was full of weeds and brown scum. Probably had 40 pounds of weeds on the trailer when we got the boat out. Yuck!
