The zone was full of fish - non-biting fish. The day started out bad with my throttle cable malfunctioning so I had to run the three miles via my 8 hp kicker. 30 minutes instead of 5 to get fishing. Oh well. Anchored up and started throwing the old stand-bys at the chums. But they weren't biting. I switched any number of lures, jigs, spoons to no avail. Ended up going back to a multi-colored corkie and green yarn and got a nice 10 pound male to bite. But that was it for the morning. Incoming tide, must have been high tide around noon or so. I didn't see the shore anglers or the other boats doing much better.
