We put in at Zittle's Marina in fog, so stayed close to the shoreline around Johnson Point until the fog cleared enough to see where the landmarks are. Nothing happened at Johnson Point, so we started for Devilshead. After thirty minutes or so, we started looking at Anderson Island. We began the drift toward Anderson and began catching "dog-fish". The barbless hooks sure was the trick when it came to turning these fish loose. They still managed to keep more than their share of hooks, though. We fished Anderson for more than an hour and began to spread out toward Nisqually can, however the bow-wows kept up with us and we continued to feed them for awhile. Finally we decided to have at it on the shallows of Hartstene and Briscoe Point. Still catching dog-fish. We considered hardware, but noted the fuel gauge in the gas tank and decided to head back toward Zittle's. I just know there are Salmon out there, but the puppies just will not allow me to connect with them. I'll be back when the tide is right and the moon is not so bright
Remember the life jackets and keep a sharp eye for the jerking rod tip.
