We went out a few time last week squid fishing. It has been really good. Actually, the entire season has been really good here in the Kitsap area! I have not changed my jigs for at least 6 weeks. I am using a Green Squidinator™ Teaser, Pink Squidinator™ Original, and a Squidinator™ Glow. I have them rigged in that order from bottom to top. My wife has been using the same jigs but in the opposite order.

Some of the nights the squid have been really aggressive. A sea lion came by Illahee and slowed it down for a few nights so we went elsewhere. Overall size has been larger than normal.

You need to get out there while the squid fishing is good. I have meet a lot of first time squid anglers this season. It is good to see new people out there enjoying what the State has to offer. We should have good squid fishing for the next three months..
