We launched at Port Orchard and ran up to Humpie Hollow -- quite a long run. We started fishing north of the ship wreck and trolled south with the tide. We picked up 3 humpies and then moved over to Possession Bar. Picked up 2 more humpies and then the big doggies came on in numbers. We caught over a dozen dog fish and reeled in rigs with the squid and herring and hook missing. One dog fish hit at 16 feet as we were attaching a 2nd rig to the down rigger. We then moved over to double bluff where we caught only little ling cod, only about a foot long. Of course he was released but the unfortunate humpies will wind up on grills and in smokers. Fishing isn't hot yet but its starting and should be great in a week or so. Tight lines BJ
