Went fishing from about 5:30pm to 7:30pm and had some good luck. Managed to get 2 salmon, 1 Blackmouth about 5 pounds more or less, (released) and a 4 pound Hatchery Silver which was kept. Caught both on a Dodger with about a 36" leader with a Chartreuse and Flourescent White Coho Killer with Smelly Jelly Salmon Feast. The Silver hit 40 feet behind the boat when I was just letting the downrigger ball down, and it smashed the lure and started jumping on the surface. The Blackmouth hit at about 40 feet. There are tons of Dogfish in the area, so bag the herring for another time and use lures or else your just gonna find the Dogfish. Tons of bait too, and some friends down the beach were catching 4 or 5 silvers each the previous few days, and one released a 20lb. King. All fish are caught right infront of the houses, same with us too.
