So I took a week off work, and decided to have a little fishing sebaticle. Crabbed the last two days of the season and had no problem limiting out in one pull both days. Surprisingly enough there was some BIG crab still left. Spent the first few days fishing in my "secret place" and hooked up 3 little kings. All between 5 and 10 pounds. Middle of the week headed out to the next destination and hooked up a 10 lb coho. Fought like a champ. Got out the smoker. Hooked in two one more king as well 8lb. LAst destination was Posession Point. Hit it up on the 9th and hooked the most beatiful silver with a gigantlic hooknose. Prettiest silver I have ever caught. It weighed in just under 11lb. Other than that I probably caught over 300 baby blackmouth...their everywhere. If your fishing with bait,, bring some extra. At points it was hard to get past 30 feet without a baby on the end of your hook. Great week great fishing, time to get back to work and wait for winter steel!!!!
