Went out by myself on Saturday for some stress relief and to make sure the boat still works. Dropped my Arima in at Shilshole and was on the water by 7:30 or so. Dunked the crab pots North of Meadows then started fishing at Meadows. Got a couple of shakers jigging, but the wind was blowing me pretty fast, so it was hard to reach bottom.

Moved to West Point, trolling from the anchoring buoy just outside the Locks channel South to West Point. Got a few shakers on a Hot Spot and Coyote setup, then moved to large Apex with the e-chip to try and avoid shakers. Got a few more including a nice 20 incher that was fun with no flasher.

Moved over to Restoration Pt to see if anything bigger was around. On my first trolling pass, I came across a massive bait ball with fish arcs galore. Swung back and broke the jigging rod back out. Spent about two hours drifting across the bait ball catching shakers and hoping for something big. Got two 20+ inchers to the boat but nothing that was over 22... Nice protected water and active fish... Wow!

Slugged my way back to Shilshole through the big waves and had fun pulling crab pots in 2 foot waves. Not sure what happened, one pot was completely empty and the second only had one small dungeness and two small rock crabs in it. I think somebody visited my pots while I was away... Oh, well.
