Fished all day yesterday. We were on the water at about 6am and made our way to 3 tree point. I have never seen so much bait in my entire life. In fact I saw more bait form des moines to 3 tree point yesterday then I saw in the last 10 salmon trips I have been. They were everywhere, it looked like it was raining, bait on top bait on bottom, seagulls everywhere, eagle diving down and salmon going airborne. We only fished the area untill 8:30 because we had to go pick up my buddy from the pier. But my friends little brother caught a little 18" king and we saw 2 caught. For some reason after we picked him up we decided to troll south. My friend little brother a a nice fish on that broke his line at redondoe. We ended up at browns point. We tried to zip across to get some fresh herring and the battery wouldnt start. Between the radio and the depth finder we were drained. Started making the long troll back to Des moines and my kicker took a crap on us. So we got towed in to redondoe, thanks to the very kind gentle man who took the time to tow us in. Then I had to get picked up there, get dropped off in des moines, go back........... Oh well it could have been worse but still one heck of an effort for no fish
