Me and my buddy Patrick/fishingboy got their around 1:20-1:30 p.m. we started to go for flounders with shrimp i caught a real small one like 2 inches and a small shiner perch. I met a guy who was salmon fishing and he was catching a bunch of shakers mostly kings all around 6-9 inch range. He used a one and half ounce white dart. He told me buzz bombs worked pretty well up there so he lent me his, it was 3 ounces Silver with a Blue Stripe down the middle. I caught quite of few shaker kings and 1 silver. My buddy caught a nice 13 inch fat copper rock cod. We tried hoisting it above the water with a net and somehow got through. Was a bummer. I lost a big bite off the bottom it apparently went straight for some pilings and got me stuck i was fishing for rock cod using a live perch off the bottom. He used a live shiner perch down on the bottom with a hook through the back. My buddy tried hoochies and small jigs off the bottom with no luck. We decided to go crabbing around 3:30 p.m. Lotsa a people out here today seeing its the last week for crabbing season. then again this place is always crowded during crabbing season. We caught 1 keeper dungie kinda bad for this pier. Some other people caught a nice flounder maybe 2 pounds. About 5 p.m. we gave up fishing and took a break so we tied pieces of chicken on 30 lb test and chucked it as far as we could and went seagull fishing. Our day ended with about 8-10 Shiner
1 Rock Cod perch 7-8 Shakers and 2-3 Flounder 1 Crab and Some Seagull hahaha.
