Hey Jeff,
Just checking salt reports hoping to hear how everyone is doing in 8-1 and 8-2 for black mouth and saw your post. I'm sure it won't take you long to catch #1 of 09. Since the 09 black mouth opener I have noticed many truck / boat trailer rigs parked at the State Park launch near my house. 10 yesterday morning and the same last weekend. I was checking area 8-1 and 8-2 report sections and not one report posted. Go figure. I find it hard to believe that not one of the folks fishing the salt for black mouth the last two weeks is a WALakes.com reader who could post a report. Anyway, I saw your post and thought I'd say hi . Hope you are well. Before you know it you will be coming home for summer and knockin em dead. I'm ready for the pinks in the salt and some nice silvers. I never did make it to the spot we spoke about in PM's last year so hopefully this year I can get to one of those hot spots and harvest a nice silver or two. Take care.
