Just purchased a 16 foot boat to accommodate my 3 year old son and older his brother an sister. Dropped it into our favorite lake and after a little buzzing around dropped the electric motor and did a little fishing. Let me say that the fishing was best it has been all year. Using flo-pink sling blades and green kokeenut flies at about 15 feet we had fish on every few minutes. Fish averaged about 12 inches, the largest going 16. Fish finder beeped almost to the point of being annoying. Ran in water about 25-30 ft. Fish are suspended. Limited in about an hour , missing many. My 3 year olds first trip in a boat fishing ended with him reeling in a 13 inch rainbow with dad holding the rod. What a great way of breaking in the boat and sharing time with the boys. Take a kid fishing.....
