Went out to the jetty yesterday. we were out there for about 6 hours and we went as far as the horn but we could not get anything. we talked to a couple guys who were at the very end who had some bass and a couple masssive greenlings (one about 4-5 lbs) and some other guys who had a ling that were at the very end. all of the fish seemed to come from the very end. and some were caght on the ocean side adn some on the other. I also heard of an src caught and i saw a whale shich was pretty cool.

After that we wnt to the fishing pier and i used a herring rig and caught greenling perch and a couple little bass. nothing big enough to keep but it was something.

Does anyone know when is a good time to go to the jetty and target bass or lings? thanks.
