For Fathers day I took out my Son and my Grand Daughter. Wanted them to have fun and get addicted to fishing as in Her Case. Shes 14 and never been before!!
We started off to Head down to Camano Head but the Engine was running rough, Seem we got some water in teh gas tank..so we just stayed in Eldger bay on the back up and off Lowell Point in 70ish foot of water...Using 1 ounce Jig heads with White Yum Jigs tipped with a small piece of Herring. Had them using lgt/med trout rods for fun!
Just as soon as the jig hit bottom we were hooking up with Fish...Good slab founders, a few schools of Doggies would come thru every now and them.. a Copper rocker ..went right back down with no problems...
all in all..we kept enough Flounder for a good filling dinner...and made memorys that will last a life time.
Total fish...40 flounder.
