Went out early the morning of the third of July for a shot at some resident coho in the northern part of MA 10. Made a short run across calm water and lines were in by the time the sun was peeking over the Cascades. For the first part of the morning I fished around the Kingston ferry and I was seeing bait on the surface but none of my offerings could coax anythign into hitting. By 6:30 I ran down to Jefferson Head, trolled around there for a bit, no luck. Started trolling back north to the ferry terminal, and at 7:30am I got a 6-7 lb hatchery blackmouth boatside right in front of the Kingston Ferry in 140 feet of water.
